Upcoming UK Gigs!

Who: Dan Longmore, Tom Barton, Evan Martin and Bradley Weston

What: Indie Rock (FFO: Swim Deep, Peace, JAWS)

Where: Chesterfield, UK

When: This chaps have been together for nigh on two years now. This new track ‘Give Up’ is their third release on Leeds label Clue Records. It comes on the heels of their Urban Glow EP. Which people liked. A lot. They played Y Not Festival and Tramlines in 2015 and again in 2016. Their music was also featured on Made In Chelsea. That may not sound like a ringing endorsement but have you heard the music on that show? It’s consistently excellent.

Why: Well, they’ve got bags of jingly jangly energy and a deft way with a melody insofar as the songs are seriously hooky but don’t feel like they’re trying really damn hard to be. Their music is somewhat lo-fi but not self consciously so. The key here is balance. Everything fits in the right place and adds up to more than the sum of its parts. Here’s some tour dates!

SEPTEMBER
