Chastity Play Brighton’s Mutations Festival On Nov 28th.

Whitby, Ontario is the home of Chastity, the latest gritty and melodic punks to be born in out of the Canadian milieu. After a succession of demos, Chastity are now streaming ‘Saliva’ online. It’s a fairly relentless track that doesn’t completely forgo tunefulness in the face of razor sharp guitars and pounding drums.

“Saliva isn’t about skateboarding, it isn’t about fucking,” says Brandon Williams of the band. “It’s about conscience. Over the summer as it’s been played it’s become less and less about me, and become more about anyone who has been spat in the face by someone who may not even have the conscience to realise.”

‘Saliva’ will be released on a tape along with the track ‘You’re Scary Now’ and more via Hand Drawn Dracula on November 13th 2015. Having played alongside No Joy, Nai Harvest and Priests, Chastity will make their first trip overseas to play Brighton’s Mutations Festival, alongside Lightning Bolt, METZ and Ought, taking place 28th and 29th of November.
