‘Lights Out’ is out on December 3rd on all streaming and download platforms.

You’re in a basement. The ceiling is low. Sweat drips on top of beer wielding, moshing revelers. There’s a band on stage. That band is Dead Naked Hippies. Rising out of the Leeds DIY scene with their debut single ‘Lights Out’, the trio blaze forth with coiled riffs, terse drums, and an impassioned vocal performance that calls to mind Jenny Beth of Savages. Drenched with emotion, the track pinwheels through its three minute running time with a sense of focused abandon.

The track was recorded at the Temple of Boom and produced by Matt Peel (Eagulls, Pulled Apart By Horses, Autobahn). The group have played two shows supporting Edinburgh’s Man of Moon and Leeds Garage Band New Woman at the Brudenell Social Club. Hopefully there’s more on the horizon.
