Industria mini album out 5th May via Super Fan 99.

So the sun’s beginning to shine through and a new record store has opened in my home town. All is well with the world. What better way to celebrate than with Dot Plaza’s exuberant and fun loving psych pop?

‘Mama’s Really Down’, which we are premiering with pride, is a bouncing and luscious blast of piano based pop rock that takes its lead from the shiny overtures of The Shins or The Beach Boys. This track reminds us of melting ice lollys, getting sand in sandwiches, and not wearing enough sun tan lotion. It reminds us of when you had a group of twenty friends to hang out with, getting up to mischief and generally causing all kinds of trouble. Essentially, a simpler time.
