Uruguayan indie pop fella Juan Wauters has shared the first single titled ‘She Might Get Shot’ from his upcoming second solo record Who Me?, due for release via Captured Tracks on May 12th. In an unusual move he has released the single in both English, and Spanish. To accompany the single, Juan has also released a quite ridiculous album promo video involving cats, Benjamin Franklin, and an excerpt from Charles Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du mal. Soak in all the weirdness.

The album, which is inspired by Dr. Dre and Uruguayan songwriter Jaime Roos, was recorded over the course of two weeks at Future Apple Tree in Rock Island, Illinois. As with his first solo album, Juan continues to find inspiration in his everyday life: 90s hip hop, and his beloved Queens, NY play a central role. Tour dates are imminent. Juan likes to play.
