‘Breaking In’ out 30th September via The Adult Teeth Recording Company, Warren Records and PRS.
Do you know what la bête means? It’s French for ‘the beast’. So technically, La Bête Blooms, the name of this alternative rock quartet from Hull, means ‘the beast blooms’. It’s a terrifically apt name when their new single ‘Breaking In’ is taken into consideration. The track, which we are premiering below, sees the band turn things up a notch from their debut EP. Opening with ear splitting feedback, the track quickly combines pummeling bass and focused drums with fizzing and hissing guitars. Over the course of just two minutes and sixteen seconds, the track urgently and abrasively showcases the influence of the group’s live experiences have had on their song writing to create something entirely more aggressive than they’ve previously attempted. The beast blooms indeed.

Taken from the their upcoming EP I Know It’s Nothing, which is due out early next year, the track is available today for streaming. The quartet are set to head on a short tour of England to promote the single.
