Watch Courtney Barnett Cover Lemonheads’ ‘Paid To Smile’

It’s hardly a secret that Australian singer songwriter Courtney Barnett is a fan of Evan Dando and the Lemonheads. We think that Evan Dando is one of the most under rated song writers of all time and we have a feeling that the Barnett might agree with us. In the past she has covered ‘Being Around’ and on one occasion performed a delightful duet of that track with Dando himself. recently, she has added another Lemonheads track to her repetoire in the form of ‘Paid to Smile’ from 1993’s Come On Feel The Lemonheads. She first covered it at a show in Philadelphia in May, but has also recently covered it on CBC Radio 2’s The Strombo Show.
