After what seems like bloody forever, rising London alternative rock quartet Wolf Alice have announced their debut album My Love Is Cool. It on June 22nd via Dirty Hit Records, and the first taste of the record is a track called ‘Giant Peach’, hopefully named after Roald Dahl’s wonderful children’s novel. Listen to it above.

The record was produced by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Foals), and frontwoman Ellie Rowsell has claimed it is an ambitious effort. “It’s 100 percent not a grunge record. It’s a much braver record than that,” Rowsell told NME last month. “There’s a mix of genres on it. We’re using our instruments in different ways, like Joff [Oddie] using his guitar as a synth.”

The track debuted last night as the Hottest Record on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show, and you can stream it above.
