Were We Ever Here  EP Is Due For Release Sep 25th via Club AC30.

Brighton shoegaze luminaries Air Formation will release their new music since reforming in 2014 on September 25th. The new material will take the form of an EP entitled Were We Ever Here and will be released through Club AC30. The first track to be shared from the EP is entitled ‘The Wasted Days’, and is an upbeat, feedback laden chunk of shoegaze that disregards the genres usual lugubrious pace for a more insistent and kenetic delivery. One can also hear the influences of post rock bands like Mogwai and Sigur Ros in the dramatic and soaring climax of the song.

Say the band themselves: “We really feel Were We Ever Here showcases the best of Air Formation, but then takes it on a different path to any of the music has come before. We thought it would be a more exciting, organic, experience if we just got on with it un-announced and released it as fast as we could.”
