Alt Rock: Better Oblivion Community Center feat. Conor Oberst & Phoebe Bridgers

Better Oblivion Community Center

Better Oblivion Community Center’s self-titled debut album is out now.

So, Conor Oberst (of Bright Eyes fame) and Phoebe Bridgers (boygenius) have come together in the form of Better Oblivion Community Center. The result is a melancholic album of alternative rock tinged with a chugging slacker vibe. These are stripped down and unassuming songs of naked emotion. At the end of the day, any album that can have one song about Dylan Thomas and another about Dominos is a winner in my book. Listen to the whole nine yards below.
