Alcest Share Powerful New Track ‘Oiseaux de Proie’, UK Tour Dates

New Album Kodama  Out September 30th Via Prophecy Productions.

Oiseaux de prioe means ‘bird of prey’ apparently. Which is extremely apt, as this new track from French black metal duo Alcest soars and swoops through dynamic passages of furious guitars and pummeling drums contrasted with periods of tense and taut restraint. This track may suggest that Alcest are heading back to their roots after the release of their fifth, and least metal, album Shelter in 2014.

New album Kodama promises to provide greater punch and rhythm then ever before, displaying the influence of Western bands like Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, Grimes, and The Cure alongside the significant influence of Japenese art and culture.
