Alt Rock: Narrow Head Share ‘Stuttering Stanley’ Video

Narrow Head’s new album 12th House Rock is out August 28th via Run For Cover Records and Holy Roar Records (UK/EU).

Texas based alt-rock fellas Narrow Head have shared a new track from their upcoming second album 12th House Rock. Titled ‘Stuttering Standley’, the track sees the band continue to mine their love for shoegaze and early ’90s alt-rock. It is a mid-tempo fuzzy beast that is about as slacker as they come. It has a big ol’ chorus though. As was the style at the time.

Pre-order the album via Holy Roar Records.

Vocalist Jacob Duarte states, “Stuttering Stanley is something I was called growing up a few times. Not everyone can keep up with how I talk and what I’m saying. There’s two types of reactions I get when a person hears me stutter for the first time. Sometimes they’ll notice and patiently let me get out my words, and politely not say anything. The other is the person who doesn’t understand what’s happening and chuckles before realising that I have a stutter. It helps me figure out who’s real and who’s not.”
