Jason Keisling’s new track ‘As If The Sea Should Part’ is out now.
I love ambient music. Having said that, I’ll be the first to admit that it can kind of all meld into one wash. Washington DC based songwriter Jason Keisling has avoided that on his latest track with a simple but effective technique. Essentially, he has popped a damn cool trip-hop beat and bassline under his flowing and delicate ambient work. The track, titled ‘As If The Sea Should Part’, is that rare ambient track that is somehow distant but immediately arresting. Here’s hoping he expands this approach to an entire album.
