Angel Olsen Shares Video For New Track ‘Sister’

New Album My Woman  Is Out September 2nd Via Jagjaguwar.

Following on from ‘Shut Up and Kiss Me‘ and ‘Intern‘, Angel Olsen has shared a third track from her upcoming second album. Titled ‘Sister’ the track is a pensive and emotive country rock ballad. Reverb drenched guitar leads with example from the front, guiding Olsen through a cathartic journey culminating in a Neil Young-esque guitar solo.

Olsen says the album addresses, “the complicated mess of being a woman. … I’m definitely using scenes that I’ve replayed in my head, in the same way that I might write a script and manipulate a memory to get it to fit. But I think it’s important that people can interpret things the way that they want to.”
