Out This Summer Via Wavves’ Ghost Ramp Label
Last year, hot on the heels of Nirvana’s induction into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and her very public reconciliation with Dave Grohl, former Faith No More front woman Courtney Love released the double a-side single ‘You Know My Name/Wedding Day’.
This year, hot on the heels of the critical success of Montage of Heck, the first documentary about her former husband Kurt Cobain to be made with the cooperation of his family, she has dropped another new track called ‘Miss Narcissist’.
A more cynical man might suggest that these events are linked. That man is not me. ‘Miss Narcissist’ will be released this summer, with ‘Radio Killer’ serving as the b-side, via Ghost Ramp and Crush Music.
Despite all this conjecture, the song continues the surprising upsurge in quality from Courtney. This track, along with last year’s single release, marks the must impressive music she has released since at least 1998’s Celebrity Skin.
