Single Out On Tough Love Records In July

Danish melodic punks Yung have shared ‘Blanket’, their first new track since the March release of their debut international EP Alter. The track sees the band channeling The Replacements as they add yet more melody and earnest anthem to their razor sharp punk aesthetic. The group are building quite a discograph, which is remarkable considering that front-man and songwriter Mikkel Holm Silkjær is still only 20 years old. They’ll be bringing their incendiary, noisy, and yet joyful brand of noisy rock to The Great Escape this weekend. If you have tickets, you really gots to catch them.

‘Blanket’ b/w ‘Burning Bodies’ will be released digitally and as a limited run of 500 vinyl copies through Tough Love Records on 24th July 2015, with the first 100 (available only through the Tough Love site) being a white pressing and the remaining 400 black.

Catch Yung on the following dates:

May 15th – The Great Escape – 9.30pm @ The Haunt (NME stage), UK
May 16th – The Great Escape – 7.15pm @ Bleach, UK
May 19th – London, The Stags Head w/ Autobahn, UK
