There is going to quite a significant dip in the weather according to the big noggins at the weather forecast place with the fancy barometers and dangling things and whatnot. Some more insulating music might be just the remedy for a chilly January. Something that will compliment the hot whiskey, and hot water bottles. Enter Californian quintet The Desert Line. Their latest single “Heliotropic”, which also acts as the lead single from their upcoming debut ep You and the Earth, is a sun drenched piece of Beach Boys inflected indie pop. Glorious harmonies, and handclaps (I fucking love hand claps) shimmy around a solidly driving drum beat and some under played guitar heroics.
Keep an eye out for the ep which will be released in winter 2015.
