False Heads Share New Single ‘Weigh In’

‘Weigh In’ Is Out October 7th Via 25 Hour Convenience Store.

Following on the promise of recent single ‘Slew‘, London grunge/punk trio False Heads have shared an incendiary new track called ‘Weigh In’. The track certainly lives up to its name as it comes out swinging like Conor McGregor would do if some chancer had just stolen his beard oil. Enormous, and yet ultimately raw, riffs stack up next to a propulsive, technically impressive rhythm section, and a vocal that is somewhat like melodic spitting. This is snotty, aggressive, and infectious.

The group have a whole bunch of singles and live dates planned for the coming year. With hype coming from Iggy Pop, ex-Ramones manager Danny Fields, Huw Stepehens, and after signing by The Libertines drummer Gary Powell to his label 25 Hour Convenience Store, things are looking pretty positive for these lads from East London.
