Everybody’s Dying To Meet You  Is Out February 12 Via Kanine/Fortuna POP!

After last year’s quite exquisite debut album Do What You Want Too, It’s What You Should Do, London indie pop trio Flowers are back with a new album and a new track. Everybody’s Dying To Meet You, which is set to be released on February 12th via Kanine in the States and Fortuna POP! in the EU, will feature the upbeat and yet gentle new track ‘Pull My Arm’. The track is a bit of a departure from their subdued debut, and sees them exploring the more ‘noise’ tendencies of their live shows.

After recording their debut album with Bernard Butler of Suede fame, the trio headed to Walthamstow with Brian O’Shaugnessy (The Clientele, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine) for the follow up. He has enabled them to capture the visceral and ragged sound of their live shows without discarding the gentle melodiousness of their debut. So this one is a little bit less C86 and a bit more shoegaze. Sounds good to us.
