Garage punk: Sharkmuffin share fuzzy new single ‘Serpentina’

Sharkmuffin’s new EP Gamma Gardening is out now via Exploding in Sound Records.

New York/Jersey Shore based trio Sharkmuffin have recently released their rough and ready new EP Gamma Gardening via the always reliable Exploding in Sound Records. It is a fuzzy/melodic/incendiary blast through five songs of increasing anxious and intensity. One such track is titled ‘Serpentina’. A power trio exploration of mid-tempo fuzz, the track calls to mind the melodic garage punk of Sleater-Kinney. Elsewhere on the record, the trio explore realms of feedback and the freneticism of the riot grrrl movement of the early 90s. Check out ‘Serpentina’ below.
