Californian trio claim new album will be recorded sooner than later.
Haim have claimed their new album will be ready ‘very soon’, and they intend to begin recording in late July.
Keyboardist Alana Haim spoke to BBC 6 Music before their Friday night appearance at Glastonbury and said, “This is the first time we’ve ever written on the road. We’re going home in a month to start recording. I promise record two won’t come in six years, it’ll come very soon.”
Haim’s debut album Days Are Gone was released in September 2013, and has been both a commercial and critical success. It reached number 6 in the U.S. Album Charts, while it topped the charts in the U.K. Additionally, It has since been certified gold in the U.K. It was included in a multitude of end of year lists including those of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and Consequence of Sound.
Haim has a plethora of tour dates organised for this summer, including festival shows at T In The Park, Longitude and Roskilde. You can access the full list of tour dates here.
