The reissue of The Night And I Are Still So Young is out soon on Label Obscura.
This is a gem. Straddling the middle ground between The Beach Boys and The Carpenters, this early 00’s gem from Canadian orchestral pop group The Heavy Blinkers is a pretty perfect companion for a nice summer’s evening sipping drinks in a beer garden. As I already mentioned, this track posesses the warm harmonies and bounce of The Beach Boys, countered with a melancholic turn reminiscent of The Carpenters. The track is like a warm hug from a loved one. Magic.
The entire album is seriously lush and will be issued on vinyl for the very first time by Label Obscura. There will be brand new artwork, detailed liner notes by Brian Chidester and it will be pressed on 180 gram vinyl with a limited edition pressing of 300 copies. They’ll go like hot cakes.
