Brooklyn shoegazing dreampoppers Infinity Girl have shared ‘Not Man’. The track will feature on their upcoming album Harm which is out on August 28th via Topshelf Records. Pre-order the album via Topshelf Records.

Nolan Eley, singer/guitarist with the group, told Interview Magazine this about the new album, “I think we’ve gotten more cohesive as we’ve evolved. On the first album, each song sounded like it was influenced by one specific band, basically. Now I think all of these influences are building together to a more unique and cohesive sound. The specific evolution, compared to the last [album], is that we have made a more anti-shoegaze statement in a way. We wanted to get away from shoegaze or dream-pop bands that are not doing much within the genre to make it unique.”

Infinity Girl formed their delightful brand of soft shoegaze in 2012, releasing their debut LP Stop Being On My Side in 2012. They followed this later on that year with an EP that built on their sound called Just Like Lovers. More recently the band has begun to explore a darker side, melding post-punk sensibilities with a more nuanced ability to blend noise with melody. Kudos to them! Listen!
