About Joanna Gruesome

Joanna Gruesome are a noise pop sextet that hail from Cardiff in Wales. They formed in 2010 after meeting in anger management class (or so the myth goes). Since then they have released two albums, Weird Sister in 2013 and Peanut Butter this year. Weird Sister won the 2014 Welsh Music Prize, and was lauded by music critics the world over. In June singer Alanna McArdle left the group, and was replaced by Kate (Pennycress) and Roxy (Two White Cranes, Grubs, TOWEL). The Scala gig marks their first London show since their three night stand at Power Lunches in January.

Tickets can also be purchased online.
