Kate Tempest Streams New Track, UK Tour

Kate Tempest Streams Brand New Track

Overblown‘s absolute love for the Mercury Music prize nominated rapper/performance poet Kate Tempest is hardly a secret. So, we are pretty ecstatic about her release of a brand new track, “Bad Place For A Good Time”. This track again incorporates Tempest’s evocative and emotive story telling style showcased to such wonderful effect on her debut album Everybody Down and her most recent collection of poetry, Hold Your Own. Her simple, and straightforward words tell a story of hope amongst hopelessness over unobtrusive piano, and bass accompanied by a stark beat. The single is completed by “Stink,” taken from Tempest’s debut LP, which also features guest vocals from Willy Mason.
