It’s Wednesday morning and it’s two degrees Celsius outside. I didn’t get much sleep and now it’s time to go to work. Lame. The lethargy is seeping into my writing like wet sand massing between your toes. At least, I have the exceedingly delightful and suitably dour dream pop of Other Bodies to keep me company. They’re from San Diego, where it is probably not two degrees Celsius at this particular moment in time, and they play a brand of atmospheric dream pop characterised by integrated electronic percussion, sequencing and live looping. These two tracks are cut from their debut album recording sessions, and hopefully indicate a very strong, and engrossing debut. Bravo, chaps!
