Lusts Stream Debut Single, Sign to 1965 Records

lusts mouthwash

Lusts, two brothers from Leicester who specialise in shoegaze pop, are set to release their debut single “Temptation” digitally today and on 7″ on March 2nd via 1965 Records. Mixed by MJ of Leeds noise rock five piece Hookworms, who has also worked with Welsh noise pop wunderkinds Joanna Gruesome, the track is ridiculously confident for a debut single. Sounding like My Bloody Valentine with singalong choruses, the duo craft an effortless song that never lays off the reverb or the sumptuous hooks.

Following a performance at 1965 Records party in December, the band play their second live show at Birthdays, London on Tuesday 27th January before heading out to support Coves on their UK March tour on the following dates:

4th The Louisiana Bristol

5th Sunflower Lounge Birmingham

6th Nation of Shopkeepers Bristol

8th Nice ‘N’ Sleazy Glasgow

9th The Castle Manchester

10th The Bodega Nottingham

11th The Hope Brighton

12th Corsica Studios London
