Martha Share Video For ‘Precarious (Supermarket Song)’

New Album Blisters In The Pit Of My Heart  Out Now Via Fortuna POP!/Dirtnap.

Pop punk heroes of kitchen sink realism Martha have shared a new video for their track ‘Precarious (Supermarket Song)’. Taken from their second album Blisters In The Pit Of My Heart, ‘Precarious (Supermarket Song)’ is a love story about summoning the bravery to ask out the till worker in the local supermarket. The video, which mirrors the story in the song, was shot in Washington DC by Ben Epstein and David Combs of Baby Pony Food Productions and features Ariana Stone, Liz Mazer, Radiator Hospital and The Max Levine Ensemble.

When asked about the video, drummer Nathan Stephens-Griffin said, “The video tells the story of a bourgeoning romance which begins in a supermarket but is interrupted almost immediately by a peculiar wardrobe mishap.” Don’t worry though. It all works out in the end resulting in some DIY punk romance.
