Modern Technology’s debut album Service Provider is out on September 4th via Human Worth.
Who: Chris Clarke (bass & vocals) and Owen Gildersleeve (drums).
What: Noise rock.
Where: London, UK.
Why: Coming straight out of London in England, Modern Technology expel a churning, intense and confrontational brand of noise rock that roils and rollicks unrelentingly. Check out ‘Semi-Detached’, gleaned from their upcoming debut album Service Provider. It is a cudgel of a song that marches through a mid-tempo quagmire of detuned bass and thunderous drums. It stomps along trampling all in its path like a disgruntled grizzly.
This is their first LP and get this: it comes out through charitable label Human Worth and “20% of all proceeds (plus the extra 10% that Bandcamp usually takes on the upcoming fee waiver days on 5th June and 3rd July) split between the amazing charities The Trussell Trust to help support their nationwide network of food banks, and Black Minds Matter to help provide mental health support to black individuals and families.”
