Carlson’s first solo album Conquistador is out on April 27th via Sargent House.

Pioneering founder of drone doom outfit Earth Dylan Carlson has announced the release of his very first solo album. Titled Conquistador, the record will see release on April 27th via the always top notch Sargent House Records. He has also released the abrasively hypnotic first single from the album. ‘Scorpions In Their Mouths’ is an unsettling and imposing sonic experience that doesn’t pander to the listener in any manner.

“I guess what ties this all together—all my musical projects and my life in general—is the idea of the quest, that search for new horizons and something unnamable and possibly unreachable,” Carlson says of the record.
