Overhead, The Albatross Share Video For ‘Big River Man’

Video Recorded At The Axis Theatre In Ballymun, Dublin.

Irish post-rock instrumentalists Overhead, The Albatross have shared the video ‘Big River Man’, the first single to be gleaned from their upcoming debut album. A kinetic, complex, and ambitious piece of music, the simplicity of the performance video emphasises the beauty, and nuance of the track perfectly.

The video, directed by Overhead, The Albatross guitarist Luke Daly, slowly loops around the band as they plunder their way through the track. They are eventually joined by a string section, a chorus of voices, and a bloody marching band as the track and video reach their climactic denouement. The whole thing was shot at the Axis Theatre in Ballymun, Dublin and is as mesmerizing and euphoric as the track itself.
