Pixies Share New Track ‘Talent’, Euro Tour Dates

New Album Head Carrier  Out Sep 30 Via Pixiesmusic/Play It Again Sam [PIAS].

“I met this real cool dude today / Looking like Jack Palance.” I don’t care what anybody says, that is an excellent opening line from the latest track to be released by the Pixies. Musically, the track sports a more angular post punk or kraut rock approach than much of their more alternative rock focused work and previous single ‘Um Chagga Lagga‘. Stripped down and rawer than Indie Cindy, the album showcases the harmonies between Frank Black and new bassist Paz Lenchantin.
