Hardcore punk collective The Armed have released ‘All Futures’, the first single from their upcoming album ULTRAPOP. The album is set to arrive April 16 through Sargent House. ULTRAPOP will also include features from Mark Lanegan and Queens of the Stone Age’s Troy Van Leeuwen. The band has also shared a live performance video of the track which you can watch below.

The Armed’s 2018 release Only Love saw the band’s departure from their metalcore roots, and ULTRAPOP is promising to take a few steps further in that direction. ‘All Futures’ provides the well-known heaviness that came to be expected from the group, but instead relies on a blend of punk rock and pop elements to carry it through. For the band, ULTRAPOP is all about seeking ways to create a fresh experience by presenting intriguing tensions to the listener.
