Italian electro-psych duo Shirley Said have shared the video for ‘Salvation’, that completes their double-A-side single due out tomorrow (March 23rd). The single also includes the sublime ‘Merry-Go-Round’. Listen to that track below.
Shirley Said originally hail from the small town of Latina, near Rome. Originally a four-piece, the band resized to a duo upon their relocation to London. Current members Giulia Scarantino (lead vocals, synth, piano, fx) and Simone Bozzota (backing vocal, guitars, programming, efx) create a sensual, simply beautiful minimalist techno that has drawn comparisons to The xx, Polica, Lamb, and The Knife.
