Tape Waves – “Nowhere” (Overblown Video Premiere)

New Album Here To Fade  Out 29th July Via Bleeding Gold Records.

South Carolina based husband and wife dream pop duo Tape Waves are releasing their new album Here To Fade tomorrow through Bleeding Gold Records. It is quite the beauty and will be available on a run of 500 LPs (200 gray/300 blue-white) and 1000 CDs. To celebrate, the band has graciously decided to premiere the video for latest single ‘Nowhere’ with Overblown right here and now. You can check that out above.

The track is a delightfully simple and blissful indie pop track that breezes along dreamily like Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer navigating their way down the Mississippi River. Excellent for a warm summer’s day I reckon. The video sees guitarist/singer Kim Hart Weldin playing the track in a variety of vaguely suburban settings while looking effortlessly cool. As is her wont.

If you are in Charleston, South Carolina on the 6th August you can catch Tape Waves at The Vinyl Countdown for a song or two.
