Seems Unfair Out Oct 30th Via Turnstile.

It’s only been just over six months since the release of their debut album No One’s Coming For Us, but already Bristol’s finest lo-fi indie pop/rock ever changing group of musicians Trust Fund are back for a bit more. Today they have shared a typically quirky video for ‘Football’ from their upcoming second album Seems Unfair which was produced by MJ of Hookworms (obviously) and is out on October 30th via Turnstile. The album will also feature ‘Dreams’ which is Trust Fund’s collaboration with Alanna McArdle, formerly of Joanna Gruesome.

The video features commentary from what I believe is the 1988 F.A. Cup Final between Wimbledon and Liverpool, a very vintage Swindon Town jersey, and lots of fun in what might be the Clifton Down in Bristol. The song itself deals with self doubt in a self deprecating and relaxed manner, as is band leader Ellis Jones’ wont.

Check the video out below or you can listen to it via Bandcamp. Below that there’s tour dates and track listings and whatnot. Enjoy!
