Trust Fund Share ‘Dreams’ Feat. Alanna McArdle (formerly Joanna Gruesome)

Trust Fund Dream

On Tour This Summer And Autumn (Some Dates With Speedy Ortiz)

We’re big fans of Bristol’s indie-pop Trust Fund here on Overblown, especially our resident lover of all things twee Martin Wilson. Led by Ellis Jones, the group are purveyors of delightfully unassuming indie/fuzz pop that is breezy and yet leaves a distinct impression. Their debut album, No One’s Coming For Us, is an endearing, and honest trip through Jones’ personal experiences, both good and bad. Maybe. Who really knows? What is autobiography? What is real?

These are questions for another time. In the meantime, have a listen to this pretty glorious track. Plus, rejoice to her Alanna McArdle’s wonderful vocal stylings after her unfortunate departure of the ever awesome fuzz poppers Joanna Gruesome. Speaking of which, you should really check out their new album, Peanut Butter. It’s quite wonderful.
