Why: Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, noise rock trio TRVSS unleash a brand of noise rock that is angular, intense and yet pretty catchy. For instance, check out the mid-tempo stomp of ‘In A Sense’. Led by rumbling bass, distorted vocals and a palpable sense of foreboding, the track is an intense trip that doesn’t scrimp on the melody. It is a pretty good reflection of their debut album New Distances. Go check it out!
