Line-up Includes: Swans, Courtney Barnett, Savages, Mono (Japan), And Gold Panda

Today seminal English post-punks Wire have announced Drill:Brighton in conjunction with Brighton promotional company One Inch Badge. The four day event will run from the 4th to the 7th of December across a multitude of venues in Brighton. Tickets go on-sale this Friday 19th September 2014 at 9:00 am GMT from See Tickets.

Bands slated to perform include: The Wytches, East India Youth, Swans, Savages, and Courtney Barnett amongst others. More than fifty artists are yet to be announced. There will also be a plethora of artists, talks, films and exhibitions being showcased. Overblown is most excited about Krautrock Karaoke and not just because we love alliteration.

Drill:Festivals have previously been held in both London and Seattle. It’s goal is to explore the impact Wire has had on younger groups and also enables them to make connections with contemporary artists they admire. Drill:Brighton will include a once off collaboration between Wire and Swans, which could sound pretty much like the apocalypse.
