The new track makes for their second offering of 2023, following last month’s release of ‘Vampire Empire‘.
An upbeat Americana jaunt which sees Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, James Krivchenia and Max Oleartchik plunging headlong into romance, ‘Born For Loving You’ will feature on Big Thief’s forthcoming 7″ vinyl which is set for release on 20th October.
‘Born For Loving You’ – alongside ‘Vampire Empire’ – was created with producer Dom Monks in the Spanish city of Guissona during Big Thief’s European tour. The latter of the two tracks was unveiled on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this year.
The band’s most recent album, last year’s Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You, garnered acclaim from across the board, picking up two Grammy nominations in the process and featuring on year-end lists at Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and Billboard, to name a few.
