Daniel Avery announces Drone Logic reissue

The seminal record will receive a ten-year anniversary reissue.

Revered producer and composer Daniel Avery today announces a ten-year anniversary reissue of his debut studio record Drone Logic, slated to arrive on 8th December via Phantasy.

Originally pressed on black wax only, Rough Trade will stock an exclusive crystal clear double-vinyl, with all other retailers stocking a white double vinyl.

“Time moves at a breakneck pace, no question, but the decade since Drone Logic, has been filled with so many momentous moments,” Daniel recounts the impact of the release. “so many beacons of light I never could have imagined appearing on the horizon that every year has left a deep and unique notch in my memory.”

He continues, “The album gifted me a creative life, one that feels as exciting today as it ever has done. The countless stories I’ve heard from you over the years about how it soundtracked special moments or, further still, affected your path in some way – they all mean so much to me. This is why, above all, I simply want to say thank you to every single person who has been there along the road in some capacity, fans old and new. Drone Logic caught fire thanks to word of mouth and that glowing energy I believe continues to live on. We have a lot more news coming around this release so stay tuned.”

Daniel Avery will perform at London’s KOKO on 10th November.
