London synth legends Hot Chip receive a wonderful remix courtesy of yunè pinku.
Following on from the release of Hot Chip’s most recent single ‘Fire of Mercy’ featuring yunè pinku, pinku has now shared her glorious remix of the song; transforming the anxious joy of the original into a hazy daydream of a party jam.
yunè takes the lead vocals this time, her words & sighs woven around snippets of Hot Chip’s original topline and undercut by a driving skittering beat. Delicate synthesisers decorate the backdrop, a dreamlike soundscape of gentle pads and stuttering vocal chops.
pinku says of her remix: “After featuring on the original version, it was really cool to get the opportunity to reimagine the track in a different way. Hot Chip are such icons within the electronic space – it’s been a huge pleasure to be able to collaborate in this way with them.”

Hot Chip will headline London’s Drumsheds, the brand new 15,000 capacity venue from the team behind Printworks later this month.
