The New York-based artist delivers their first single since their fantastic 2023 sophomore record.
Today, Joanna Sternberg reveals their brand new single ‘Neighbors’, released via Fat Possum Records. The track is intimate, delicate, Sternberg supported by solely a piano. ‘Neighbors’ feels live, as if one is in the room with them, the careful touches of reverb natural and organic. Sternberg’s voice is as unique as ever, their vocal timbre idiosyncratic and distinctive, refreshing to hear in the indie-folk saturate.
Sternberg is currently on a North American tour supporting The Lemon Twigs, having recently opened for Self Esteem, Kurt Vile and others. They will soon embark on their first-ever UK and European tour, before another string of US dates later this winter with Angel Olsen and Buck Meek.
