Simple Things Festival announces first wave of acts for 2024 return

Simple Things festival in Bristol announces lineup

Bristol festival Simple Things has returned from a hiatus to announce the lineup for its 2024 edition. Having last graced the city in 2019, the tenth run of the festival boasts a sumptuous lineup featuring a broad range of acts, and a programme that encompasses live performances during the day and runs into the early hours with a selection of DJs.

The daytime lineup includes acts such as Gilla Band, Flowdan and Gazelle Twin, plus a celebration of iconic indie label Speedy Wunderground’s ten year anniversary featuring Honeyglaze, O. and Miss Tiny. The nighttime offering is headed up by Julio Bashmore, with additional sets from the likes of Saoirse, DJ Python and Yushh. Take a look at the full list of artists announced so far here.

With the main programme taking place on 24th February 2024, the festival will also play host to a standalone closing performance from Fever Ray at their flagship venue, Bristol Beacon, on the 29th February.

Continuing its long-standing partnership with Crack Magazine, the festival will be spread across multiple venues in Bristol, including Bristol Beacon, Rough Trade, Strange Brew, Lakota and Coroner’s Court. Previous headliners of the festival include Holly Herndon, Slowdive, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Kano, plus many more.

Early bird tickets for next year’s event go on sale Friday 29th September, and can be found here.
