Wet Leg took to the enchanting fields of Wiltshire, Dorset on Saturday night to play a surprise set at End of the Road Festival.

Playing alongside a beautiful sunset, indie duo Wet Leg took to the End of the Road Festival on Saturday night for a surprise set on the main stage. Playing second to the top of the bill, the group stood amongst a neat line-up of artists, with notable mentions from Future Islands, Arooj Aftab, Crack Cloud and many more.

Reportedly making a gimmicky entrance, the group waltzed onto The Woods stage, introducing themselves as none other than Oasis… which we’re sure went down with a barrel of laughs. Later paying tribute to some of their earlier work, Wet Leg delved into tracks ‘Chaise Longue‘ and ‘Wet Dream‘ from their 2022 self-titled debut album.

Some might say that Saturday night was a full circle moment for the group, as members Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers initially made plans to form this project whilst sat on a ferris wheel at the End of the Road in 2019. Now, fast forward four years, and the group have completed a staggering festival circuit, toured with Harry Styles and have just played the main stage at the End of the Road. It’s fair to say, they’ve exceeded more than what they might’ve imagined at that time.

Reflecting on this, the group excitedly exclaim: “This is why we started a band – to be able to play this festival, we got a bit more than what we bargained for”.
