From a trio without peer to an artist who arrives with an air of timeless Americana. Alongside MJ Lenderman, Greg Freeman is breathing new life into the genre with stark lyricism and swinging soundscapes as vast as the US plains themselves.
Mandy, Indiana // The Boat, Friday
Manchester-via-France noise rockers Mandy, Indiana conjure dense, claustrophobic soundscapes which beg to be blasted in a crammed basement around the 4am mark. It’s no overstatement to say that this is the pinnacle of what can be achieved when the worlds of punk and electronica collide.
For Those I Love // Big Top, Sunday
For Those I Love’s self-titled debut album immediately hit cult status when it was released way back in 2021 and there is no shortage of fans who are over the moon to see this year’s return of Dublin’s David Balfe.
