The boys continue to surprise with yet another release in 2023.
Indie supergroup boygenius have announced the rest, a brand-new extended play presented as a sibling piece to their debut album, the record, which landed earlier this year. the rest is set to contain four songs split between side A and side B with the opening track, ‘Black Hole’, being leaked via fan footage following boygenius’ Boston concert last night (25th September).
The band, made up of Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers have taken the indie scene by storm since the revealing of their first EP as a band, the eponymous project dropping back in 2018. This year, their debut album shot them to newer heights, the record boasting critical acclaim as well as boygenius hitting the road on a completely sold-out tour – which they are still embarking on now.
the rest to be released on October 13th via Interscope. Pre-order here.
