The long-awaited release, Famous Last Words, is to be shared with the world on 27th October.
CASISDEAD has shared details of his debut album, which will be released via XL Recordings 18 years after after the London-based rapper/producer first turned heads under his Castro Saint moniker and a full decade after unveiling his CASISDEAD project.
This news arrives alongside the track ‘Matte Grey Wrap Ft. Desire’, in which a grime delivery skates upon 80s-inspired ambient synth notes.
Aside from Megan Louise and Johnny Jewel lending their talents on ‘Matte Grey Wrap’ through their Desire project, Famous Last Words will see collaborations from Pet Shop Boys‘ Neil Tennant and Connie Contance.
A high-concept debut outing, Famous Last Words is to be a sci-fi film and musical project in equal parts; an exploration of vice, crime and faded glamour narrated by CASISDEAD himself.
