Frost Children announce new album with ‘Lethal’

frost children announce new album hearth room with Lethal

The St Louis-born siblings have announced their forthcoming album Hearth Room, set to arrive on November 17th via True Panther.

Pop experimenters Frost Children have today shared brand new cut ‘Lethal’, the first from their upcoming LP Hearth Room. On this new single, Frost Children trade the brash, distorted soundscapes and synthesisers for delicate guitar work and ambient-focussed sonic backdrops.

As ‘Lethal’ progresses, flecks of nineties and noughts alt rock become prevalent; a departure from the electronica found in tracks like ‘Flatline‘. It is an exciting prologue to the new record, which is gearing up to be less club-focussed, the lens instead honing in on Frost Children’s prowess and abilities as songwriters.

Self recorded earlier this year in a cabin in Pennsylvania’s Poconos Mountains, and mixed by Al Carlson (Oneohtrix Point Never, Jessica Pratt, Laurel Halo), Hearth Room is set to act as a sparser, more mellow sibling record to Frost Children’s electronic pop opus SPEED RUN, which arrived in April.

Frost Children tour the USA and Canada later this year. Tickets available here.
